(Washington, DC) – The Office of Police Complaints (OPC) recently welcomed its 2016 class of summer interns.  More than 90 college and law students have participated in the agency’s internship program since its inception in 2001.

Students selected for the program gain practical experience in the field of police accountability and oversight.  In addition, the students receive in-house training focusing on OPC’s mission, complaint process, community outreach efforts, and legal analysis.
