Office of Police Complaints Will Close December 27-28 for Office Move

Tuesday, December 20, 2005

The Office of Police Complaints (OPC) will be closed on Tuesday, December 27, and Wednesday, December 28, while the agency moves to its new offices located at 1400 I Street, NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.

While the agency is closed, members of the public can still visit OPC’s website, http://www.policecomplaints.dc.gov/, for information about the office or may leave a message at (202) 727-3838 or toll-free at (866) 588-0569. OPC staff will respond to messages when the office reopens.

OPC's new offices will be conveniently located above the McPherson Square Metro Station which is serviced by the Blue and Orange line trains and several bus lines. The new location will also provide more room for the agency’s expanded staff and more space to interview citizens and officers.

We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving the public when OPC resumes normal operations on Thursday, December 29, at 8:30 am at 1400 I Street, NW.
