Christian J. Klossner

Christian J. Klossner is OPC’s acting executive director.  He was appointed to this position in May 2014 after serving as the agency’s deputy director since September 2010.  Before joining OPC, Klossner was as an assistant district attorney in the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor of New York City and at the Office of the Bronx District Attorney.  He also served as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Fordham School of Law.  Prior to attending law school, Klossner worked as a policy advocate and as a staff supervisor with the New York Public Interest Research Group, a not-for-profit advocacy organization focused on environmental, consumer, and government reform issues.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York’s University at Albany and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
